King Sex (II)

King Sex was as much an accident as a product of its environment. Ground level was a town straight out of the Old West, and well it should be — the Hollywood system in its never ending quest to produce entertainment outside the rigid confines of California had built a sprawling network of dirt roads, storefronts and saloons and the like, all backed with state-of-the-art soundstages and on-set production facilities, before the whole thing was abandoned when games replaced movies as the primary form of escapism. You ever notice how, when watching those old westerns, you never actually get to see where all these townspeople live? That’s because those sets were never built. So when the first squatters took up residence in the X they found ways to expand their living quarters both up and over and underneath the sprawl of facade.
