Life-changing Actions
I was walking down the halls of the Radlburg Junior High and what do you know… the popular kids walk right up to me! That’s NOT a good thing!
“How’s it going Mia?” the one yelled obnoxiously.
I ignored them and kept walking. To tolerate this day after day….was agonizing!
“Hey! I’m talking to you!”
‘Go away!’ I was thinking, ‘Just go away!’
All of a sudden I felt a hand on my shoulder…then another on my other shoulder…and my back against the wall.
“I said….how’s it going Mia?!”
A large figure standing in front of me and giggling cheerleaders and chuckling jocks behind him. My books dropped to the floor and my whole body seemed to clamp up.
“Let go of her!” bellowed a voice. It wasn’t a teacher. It was a student. He was fairly good looking and seemed to care, unlike others.
The popular kids started to walk away. The guy picked up my books and gave them to me.
“Are you ok?”
