I wouldn’t call it bad. I’d call it in need of a little direction and editing. The story itself, catching a piece in time of an adolescent girl, is actually pretty good.
Some simple editing and this is a solid four star entry. We get just enough to give us some idea of who the girl is, but not so much that future ficleteers would be turned off writing a sequel or prequel simply because too much info is presented and they can’t fit in their own vision.
