Perfection Doesn't Make Happiness
She walks her little bouncy walk, the huge bugeye sunglasses she wears with her short, naturally highlighted brown and red hair. She’s beautiful, the only makeup she wears is black eyeliner, and shimmering pale pink eyeshadow, which brings out her big brown eyes. On the outside, shes perfect, but on the inside, shes a wreck. Her parents divorced when she was 8. Her mom was diagnosed with cancer when she was 11.
She’s still always happy, or pretends to be. She’s learned that if you act happy, even if your sad, it makes other people around you happy. Even if you just seem happy.
The only reason why shes wearing these sunglasses, which she usually wears everyday but takes them off once shes inside, is that she was crying before she came to school and was still suffering from puffy, crying eyes. She still cared about her reputation…
Perfection isn’t always happiness; and to have everything, doesnt matter if it means nothing to you.
