i miss him so much

i can almost hear him saying “i love you.”

i can almost feel his arms around me.

i got to sleep crying

and in the night i wake and he’s next to me

holding me hugging me

saying ‘im always here ill never leave i love you”

he kisses me and tells me not to cry

he holds me close

i stop crying

he holds me in his arms and i fall asleep

when i wake up, he is gone

i cry and cry

hoping that he’ll hear and come back

to take me with him. but he is gone because he walks alone now

in the dark

but i know he watches over me because every night i hear him saying that he loves me and i feel his kiss and i feel his touch

i know he’s there

i know he loves me.

he’ll never leave
