bye bye girl

When it all began i was a whole,
then somewhere along the way pieces of me
began to fall.
If you followed all the broken pieces they would lead back to me.
One piece of a whole equals me.
It all started out with a little girl with no cares in the world,
then reality set into place, she saw all that was in her,
nothing but emptiness and loneliness.
This girl had been wearing blinders for so long
that what she saw felt so unreal,
she didn’t want to believe but she new it was real.
When she felt all the pain she fell of the pedestal she called life.
From that point on she knew there was no turning back,
she was no longer the little girl with blinders on,
it was time to say bye bye girl,
she was a broken hearted nobody.
