Dark Times
Jumping the last three steps, I smashed open the unlocked door and charged into the now illuminated storage room that doubled as my holding chamber.
Jameson looked up slowly, the brightness of the halogen lamps burning into eyes that had been in darkness since I brought him in, almost 3 hours ago.
“Jesus Christ, Cullen! Don’t do it!”
I leveled my pistol and shot him right between the eyes.
I should’ve made it hurt. They would be coming for me now.
