A SLICE OF HIM II

She sighed. All the girls in the bathroom were talking about their love lifes between classes. It wasn’t as thought she didn’t want to talk about hers. Ok, she didn’t. But she probably would have. If her love life wasn’t nonexistent. She is Serena. Serena was very pretty, but doubted her self image. Many people even commented on her beauty, good and bad. All Serena heard was the bad. She’d skip school and spend hours at a time examining herself in front of a mirror. If no one was home, she’d strip down to her bare body to stare and point out her faults. She did this alot, especially since no one was ever home. She’d tear herself down, being her own enemy. Her chest too small, her hips too wide, and anything else she could think of. Every hurtful thing was remembered, the kindness drowned out. Whenever the idea that she had nice eyes came, she found that her hair was too long, her nails too short. She’d never cut or commit suicide but she’d never go to a guidance counselor either. She was hopeless. Extremely.
