Hiroshima
When all was lost, there IT stood. IT would win the war for us. IT was our final hope. Or, so we thought.
We gathered physicists from around the world to work on IT. After thousands of tests, IT was ready.
But, we weren’t. We didn’t know the power IT held. The destruction. The death.
Sure, we knew IT could kill. That was why we built IT. For once, we wanted to control death. We wanted the chance to choose who would die. And who would live.
But, we didn’t choose. We didn’t want IT to make the innocent suffer. For children to go home homeless, parentless.
So, now we pay for IT. The after effects. The cost for finding IT first.
