Coming Back
The flight was the longest it had ever been. She had only made the trip from Boston to Kentucky once and it had been going the opposite direction.
She had sworn to herself on that flight that she was never going to come back to her small town ever again.
As the plain landed she cringed as the flight attendent announced there arrival to the Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati Airport.
After fighting through the other travelers, she finally retreived her baggage. Her cousin, Arianna, was coming to pick her up. She was fretting over trying to recognize her once close cousin. The last time she had seen her was when she was in the 8th grade. Now she was a Senior and driving.
She was starting to worry when a silver BMW M6 coupe screeched to a halt in front of her. As the window slid down, she almost had a heart attack. It was Ari. Grown up. Seriously grown up.
“Get in, Cousin.” lasily drawled Ari.
Disdain dripped from those words.
Welcome Home Rachelle…..great!
