The Beast
It stumbled after us and continues to roar its lungs out. We were running and running and by this time, we couldn’t feel our legs. The beast was by now a good deal away from us. We still couldn’t shake the feeling that it was right behind us. I, being the not-so-smartest person in the world this week, looked back and our fears were confirmed. The beast had managed to catch up. We screamed so hard our lungs nearly flew out our mouths. It reached its furry, stubby hands out at us to see if we were edible. These beasts had strengthened senses. Like a butterfly, by touching a prey item, they can taste it. We quickly fell like a stone into a hole. It roared even louder if thats possible and basically called the other beasts. We had no clue what was to happen next.
