“But, Noel, haven’t you read your mother’s book?” Mrs. Yearwood’s smile nearly cracked.
“No,” I scowled.
“You should! It was a brilliant work of art! A best-seller!” She cried incredulously. I’ll put it on my to-do list. I thought. This is why I never leave the house.
