Not a fairy-tale
Once upon a time, there was a boy and a girl. And as soon as they saw each other they knew that it was meant to be. And then they fell in love and got married and had kids and lived happily ever after. Okay, so that’s not exactly how it happened. That is not how it happened at all. Our love story was not a picture-perfect fairytale. It was no Cinderella Story, no Notebook type Romance, we were nothing like Romeo and Juliet, Nor Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy. No, we were simply Sarah and Jacob. It was not love at first sight, and there was no scene in which Jacob gave a long cheesy speech about how I was the sun in his sky and how he needed me to live, queue romantic pop song and make-out fest before the credits begin to roll. None of that happened. No, our love story was not perfect. In fact, it was anything but. But it was the imperfections of our relationship that made it amazing.
