I’ve always been a bit of a computer nerd. I live on computer games and HTML . I know almost everything there is to know about computers. But I never expected anything like this.

I’d been working on this project all summer. Since I’d always been a hardcore Sims fan, I thought that combining the concepts of all the Sims games would be the ultimate game ever. So that’s what I did. Ideas from Sims, Sim City, and a bit of the Civilization games came together, and slowly but surely, I built the ultimate open ended God Mode game, modeled it after the real earth. Real cities, landmarks, even houses…and you could control everything with the click of a mouse. Click ‘Desert’ and the landscape of the virtual earth would change to a barren wasteland. I could set floods, tornadoes, and aliens onto the simulated people of the world.

But somehow, it became more. I don’t know how, it might have been a glitch, a typo, or simply the universe’s idea of a joke. By changing the virtual world, the real world changed too.
