Sally was a 20’s throw back with make up that scream old Hollywood, she dresses in kick backs from the 20’s and walk as if she was Greta Garbo and she lived it. The neighborhood women would all watch as she walk to the cornner store for some smokes, they would all giggle at what she was wearing and make silly comments like take your great grandmother clothes off they smell like moth balls. She would of course turn and give them a look right out of a scene with humphrey bogart. I would listen for hours at the stories and the knowledge she had of the old movies. She was great.
Sally I said one day, how come you are not married and living in a life of luxury you derserve it. She would say oh you know things just don’t work out some time in life. I kinda felt she was married once before and things did not work out. I would hear her laughing and giggling at the movies she would watch over and over, she seem happy although I felt she was lonly also.
