The rest of my classes up to lunch went really fast. Finally, it was third lunch. I looked around for Anthony in the big crowd of hungry students. Finally giving up I sat with a group of Ghetto girls.
“Hey girl” said one of them.
“Hi” I responded.
“Who said you could sit here?” she joked.
“Um…” I said worried.
“Nah, girl don’t worry about it I was just kidding”
“Oh okay” I smiled.
“Anytime you got no one to sit with you can sit with me.” she said whipping her braids around. Just then Anthony came up to save me from the awkward conversation.
“AUDREY!” he screamed.
“ANTHONY!” I shouted back. I got up so fast I tripped into his arms. He caught me so gently.
“I’m sorry” I said looking right into his eyes.
“It’s okay.” he giggled. “Let me show you the table and introduce you to everyone.” I walked over to the table only to discover a few people who would have the same intrests, styles and music as me.
The rest were you know, ghetto, or jocky…
He finally introduced me and everyone else…
