I thought in my mind “Just my friend. Not the boyfriend type.” It was almost the end of the day. Waiting at my locker you could guess was Kayla, Marie and Allison.
“Do you want to hang out with us somtime?” smiled Marie.
“Yeah, I’d like that.”
“We’ll give us your number and your AIM silly.” shouted Kayla. They flipped open there cell phones and I typed in my number and my aim.
“I’ll be on tonight if you guys want to IM me.” I said.
“Sure.” They all walked away together.
I ran home and there sat my dad in the kitchen.
“How was your first day dear? Make any friends?”
“Yeah” I said with a smile. I told him about each one.
“I’d like to meet them, they sound nice.” he said back.
I hugged him and ran to my room and opened my laptop. Aim started and as soon as I signed on I got IM’s from my friend’s back in Colorado where I lived before.
About 6 oclock I got an IM from an unfimillar screen name.
