A nice beginning; it shows plenty of potential. Tom seems to be in either the present-day or the future, but the blades suggest a heritage of the past. What can they be used for? Will they prove to have magical powers? Does Tom live under an oppressive regime that he can battle with this ancient legacy? Lots of room there for creative sequel or prequel writers to work with it.

High Concept here – swords designed to fight any supernatural beast you could encounter. Silver, cold iron, steel, ironwood soaked in mystic preparations… good for werewolves. sidhe, vampires, etc.

Time setting – present.

I may write my own sequel in a day or so to move things along.
