The Mind Reading Class
She seemed reallllly tense and cold. Not cold like rude.. just cold. She shivered, whoa.
I leaned forward, “Hey, I’m a mind-reader. A phsycic.”
She turned her head ever so slightly. I could only see half her face. Her eye was almost black, still with a hint of blue, but shadowed in thick, long, swept and curled eyelashes. And those lips, they were perfect for kissing. Or, they looked like it. I shouldn’t get ahead of myself.
“What am I thinking?” she whispered.
“You want to go out on a date with me, tonight at sev-”
“Erh. Wrong,” she told me, chucklig slightly.
I was bummed, but hey, at least I got her to laugh. To smile.
She had turned back around, so I tapped her shoulder, and she gave me her full face. I do believe in fairies. She was beautiful.
“You gonna make a habit out of this?” she fake annoyed.
“You are thinking… Hmmm.. You are thinking.. You want to have lunch with me,” I predicted in my best gypsy voice.
“Like, woah son, how’d you know?!” Sarcasm.
“Third table on the right.” RING !
