You! Make it Happen: An Epiphany
The ocean was calm on a sunny afternoon in early November. Pacing up and down the beach, alone, no one in sight, like being the last man on Earth, talking to God.
“O, God,â? the young man said aloud, “Tell me what to do, give me some sort of sign, I’m so alone, afraid. I dont’ know what to do, how to go on from here. Please help me.â?
He had no job. He was full of anxiety. He had lost a friend by being jealous. His mother was ill.
His world was crashing in around him.
A nervous breakdown was on the herizon.
Falling to his knees the young man cried like a new born crack baby, tears flowing nonstop.
He looked down into the golden sand, his eyes caught sight of something.
A pen.
On the pen was written: You! Make it happen.
Nothing more, no logo or address. It’s as if the pen fell out of the blue cloudless sky.
He sat and contemplated the meaning of the phrase, and all at once it hit him.
God had answered him!. God was telling him to make things happen for himself.
Only he himself could make his life better.
