Angels On Earth: Not the peaceful, loving sort
“The monkeys told me I’d find you here.” The gold haired girl brushed through the archway and swept her coat aside. She rolled her shoulders and huge wings of snowy white unfolded from her back.
Reaching over her left to straighten a wayward feather, her icy blue eyes turned upon the other. He was bent over a book, black locks hanging in matted strands across his forehead and eyes.
He didn’t even bother to look up, only lazily flipped the page and sighed. “I wish you wouldn’t call them that, Sazchiela.” His black tipped wings hanging close to his body, shielding his bare upper body, yet revealing the worn- out blue jeans he never changed.
Sazchiela pouted while moving toward him, “What happened to Sazzy. I remember when we were so close.” She was at his ear now. His wings flared as she reached to move the hair from his eyes.
Her eyes narrowed and she threw her hands upon her hips. Fury infested her stare. “Raphizeal. You have been here too long. Come home.”
“No.” He turned back to his book.
