My idea was short-lived. The supervisor used it, then replaced it with another. It worked, but it seems this other idea is more effective. Nothing was said about it, but I think I like it that way, covert.

I found myself walking down to the Boss’s office again, wondering what this was about.
Apparently, my mouth was heard by another. This time I inadvertently encouraged them to make a decision to shirk their own duties. They named me as the ring leader! I swear I never said anything to this person! I’m trying to hold onto my job, not risk it!

I had to ask a trusted coworker if she heard anything, she did. This verified the account, but I still had no intentions of idea planting.

Nevertheless, I am not stupid. I am seeking other possibilities. I am looking into going back to school, online opportunities where I can use my skills without the risk of people misinterpreting my words, and even the classifieds.

I wonder, am I giving up? Or is this just a step in discovering my niche in the world?
