Banana Trees
It is a little known fact that banana trees can walk.
Like the hour hand on a watch, you know they move because they are in a different place when you look at them over time but unless you stare intently at the roots you won’t see any specific movement. Their normal place is about a metre a year so to see anything you would have to be staring for an awfully long time.
Still, this unusual knowledge did not prepare me for the day the banana trees really started to walk.
