Teenagers

As I boarded the plane, I started looking for my seat. When I found it, I realized it was next to a teenage girl. Relieved that she would probably listen to her ipod or whatever you call it these days, I sat down and pulled out my book.
Boy was I wrong! The first couple minutes after we took off, she whipped out her blinged-out Motorola Razor.
” Hey Kathy, what’s up?”
long pause
” Ya, I know, and so I was like what is she doing and then she was like what are you doing and I was like well, like, I’m doing what you’re doing, and then she was all like whatever.”
This lasted for the whole plane ride. So much for peace and quiet. The one thing I learned during those few hours: I will never understand teenagers.
