Sorry, Not Today
“Hey, buddy, need a ride?” the guy in the chevy asked as he rolled down his window.
“Sorry, not today.” Kevin said not making eye contact as he raised his fist and punched the guy straight in the face.
Yes he felt guilty, but he needed this. He put his hand through the window and unlocked the door. He gave the guy another sucker punch, making sure he was knocked out before rolling him down the hill.
Kevin ran after the guy realizing that he forgot to check his pockets. He took the guys wallet out and walked back to the car.
This guy was a Mr. Aaron Charleston, with a nice bit of money in his wallet.
Kevin took the money and put it in his pocket, and put the rest of the wallet back into Aaron’s pocket.
Kevin drove into town, bought himself some new clothes, and rented out a room in a local motel, where he could take a shower and get some rest for what he had planned ahead.
