She Wore a Yellow Bow: A Blaze Ratchet Mystery. Part 10.

Just my luck: a full moon. As I made my way to the east side of the Schmeister-Hausen property the moon was bright enough to see my shadow on the sidewalk.
Celestial objects notwithstanding, the property was dark. I saw video cameras and assorted garden lights scattered about. Attorneys have a lot to fear, especially from former clients. So I was not surprised by the security measures taken by the senior Harvey Schmeister-Hausen.
I walked to the section of brick wall surrounding the property that seemed to be clear of any surveillance. Earlier I had picked the spot for its location, plus the fact that a huge tree limb was cascading just over the top of the wall. I assumed the tree was my best chance of gaining entrance to the property unseen.
I pulled my car next to the wall, just under the tree, and I cursed myself for not repairing the tire that was going flat. I can see it now…I’m running from the security guard to make my escape and my getaway car has a flat tire. I’m an idiot.
