Wallpaper Decryption
“So, Samurai, where should we start?” I said, looking at the mountain of Post-It Notes piled on the table in the police station.
Sam looked at me with a grin and said, “I would guess that the first thing we do is write down every letter and the corresponding number on a piece of paper and then give it to the computer geeks and let them sort it out”
“I hope you don’t plan on handwriting all this, because I could understand Chinese easier.” Sam’s handwriting is legendary around the station for its unreadability. Most people think that he should have been a doctor instead of a police officer.
“That’s what a computer is for. Don’t you remember the one everybody chipped in to get me so I could make out readable reports?”
“I’ll help, as long as I get the even numbers.”
