“What!?â€? I said in amazement looking at the clock. It was one o’clock in the afternoon. I had overslept and desperately needed a shower before going out to meet him.
“Tell him I am going to take a shower and meet him out in the living room.”
Mom turned around and looked at me and went out there and told him. I could hear him say “okâ€? and sit down on the couch. I raced to the bathroom and took the fastest shower of my life. My life was in a blur and it felt good, racing around the house like I was late to the most important thing in my life.
“Hiâ€? I said standing in the door way to the living room my hair still damp from my shower.
“Hiâ€? he said standing up with a smile on his face. I noticed he had been sitting
there with my little sister Susie and they were both quite interested in the Harry Potter movie that was playing on the TV.
