He walked into the room and broke down crying. He could barely recognize Clarke when he walked into the room. He walked over to his bed side and began to pray; pulled up a chair and began the wait. Pete held Clarke’s hand to let him know that he was there for him. Later that week Pete broke down again letting Clarke know that he loved him and that he wouldn’t know what he would do if he wasn’t here anymore. Clarke moved his figure letting Pete know that he wasn’t going anywhere. Pete leaned over and kissed Clarke on the forehead. “I love you.”
