It was six months after the premier of Raven Empress. It was after the Women’s World Bodybuilding Championship. It was after her divorce from Phillip. It was even after she had added a black eye to Ron Howard’s Opie-like face.

Tabitha hadn’t exercised outside her home in over a month so she went to the gym to relieve some stress. She dressed in a pair of black Otomix shorts and a green t-shirt with the saying “Size Matters” along the chest. She pulled her long black hair into a pony tail and sauntered along the famous free weights section of Dorian Yates’s Temple gym. She was well known here, and she liked the crowd. Dorian and the other Temple gym trainers had a way of telling it to her straight, and they made her laugh with their grunts and screams of pain and pleasure.

A man approached as she neared the Cybex machines. “Can I get a spot?”

“Sure, I’m working chest today too. See?” she said, pointing to the writing on her t-shirt.

He smiled as she helped lift the 400 lb. weights for the first rep.
