The lithe little girl emerged from the dark shadows of the hallway. She was draped in a pale pastel material that hung close to her body. She raised a pale hand to shield her eyes from the sun.

We’ve been down there a while, love, we definitely need some fresh air.” Her gentle and sweet voice matched the frailty of her soft body.

A menacing growl echoed in response from the hall behind her.

She smiled, her angelic golden hair sliding over her shoulder as she looked behind her.

A gigantic figure loomed in the hallway, he was stooped, but even so, his hulking form hardly fit within the confines of the tunnel.

“I would really rather stay in the Cellar…” his voice boomed, but held a trace of uncertainty.

“You can’t possibly like it down there. You barely even fit!”

“Hm, I suppose you’re right, and there’s absolutely no way to do— THIS !” he ran out of the tunnel, scooping up the small girl and loping off with her draped over his shoulder.

She laughed, “Whatever gets you outside, love.”
