A Matter of Seconds
He crawled under his red and yellow sheets, still shakened up from his little car accident experience. He balled up in a circle, still feeling so congested in his chest and feeling the goosebumps crawling up his skin. His heart was still trembling, but he wouldnt cry cause a woman was present, he didnt want to seem like a whimp. He wanted to cry but he couldnt, everything was already bottle up to tight for any release. All he kept thinking about was how his grandmother was killed in a car accident and how he felt so close to death in a matter of seconds. So he refused to open his cell phones, open his notebook, all he wanted to do was curl up and be left alone until he was stable.
