Once Bitten
“You should. It is real,” he replied. He turned toward her and gazed into her eyes, running both hands through her hair. His lips touched hers. She put both hands on his chest as he leaned over her, caressing the back of his arms as they kissed. She could feel his heavy breath on her neck as he began gently biting her. She pushed him away briefly, but she couldn’t fight it any longer. Kissing again, they moved to the floor of the balcony and he began to remove her clothes.
“Stop,” she whispered.
“What is it?” he asked.
“This – this is too fast. I can’t.”
He rose from the ground and stepped halfway between the kitchen and the balcony and took off his shirt. Smiling, he reached his hand toward her. “Come,” he said.
“Where?” she asked.
“Where do you think?” he replied.
Entranced, she followed him into the bedroom.
