have you ever heard of winter? have your ever been in the snow? I thought someone would at least get that it was winter outside. guess not.

I thought you correctly used frostbite in your story, because all it takes to begin the process of frostbite is cold weather, or something cold in general. And it works as hyperbole, or an exaggeration. So Good job.
