Life Everlasting
I draw my wings back as a kaleidoscopic disc begins to spin in the sky above the fields and stream. You look up as the spherical shape transforms into a radiant star, its cleansing light a sign of faith and hope. Grabbing you by the arm, I pull you down – you bow to one knee and extend your arms like a cross. I raise my robe to your face and wipe away your tears.
“Before I take you back, I want you to look me in the eyes and remember my face. It will be many years before I come to take you back, and I want you to recognize me. I have watched over you all your life, and I will continue to do so, but you must not forget your faith, my friend. For whosoever believeth in Him, may not perish, but may have life everlasting.”
