I find this works best if you think of John Cleese as Thomas, Eric Idle as Cedric, and James Earl Jones as the tree. :)

You’re right, it does add greatly to the comic effect to put those voices onto it. Granted, I think John Cleese and Eric Idle could make the phone book funny. Still, even without funny voices I thought it was an amusing little story.

Excellent! I had the accents going in my head since the moment they used first names in dialogue. I may have even added my own ”’ol chap” in there somewhere. I like how they spent too much time talking and got caught.
