Drifting Away into Eternity with my Love
She looks at the ceiling, her soul feels like it’s rising up to meet it. She rather wishes it was, because then it could go to him.
It could go to him, where it’s supposed to be. She should be off the computer now, and it’s not like he could get on anyway, but having it on just gave her a connection to him that she could hardly get any other way. She looked forward to adding more to her letter to him, but she feared she wouldn’t have time, what with Finals coming up and all.
She hated to let their relationship slip even the slightest bit, even if it was for her own good. But he understood that she had to do it. He understood how vital it was that she go to school. He did understand, right?
She really wasn’t sure, but she knew he loved her, and that she loved him. They’d figure it out. They could figure anything out, the two of them. As long as they still loved each other and he was he and she was she, all was right with the world.
