Congratulations, this story is my pick for winner of the challenge. Great descriptions and a believable tone. It conjured up memories of Uma Thurman’s live burial in the movie Kill Bill: Vol 2. I really had a sense of dread as I read this; I guess you trigged some dormant claustrophobia I didn’t know I had! The image you painted kept coming back to me for days, and it still gives me the chills. Great job!
