When she left the bathroom, she still had her towel on, ready to put on her pj’s and curl up on the couch to one of her favorite movies, “Dreamgirls.â€? A smile appeared on her face, when she saw the short, red, halter-top dress and shoes that was laid out for her on the bed. Next to it was a little note. â€?Today was your last day in the studio, working on your album, so I wanted to surprise you. Be ready by 5:30. There’ll be a limo waiting for you. Love you.â€? She looked at the clock on the nightstand and saw that it was 4:45. Her hair was a mess, she quickly went to the bathroom, and pulled out the straightener and curling iron and got to work. She decided to leave her hair down, which she rarely did, and put little curls in it. She slipped into her dress and heels, and looked in her jewelry box for matching red and black accessories. She applied a nice coat of lip gloss and looked at the clock realizing it was 5:20. She took one last look in the mirror, smiled, grabbed her clutch purse and was out the door.
