Levitation

Jeffery watched in awe as the old man floated above the rock by the stream. He was wearing a cloak that hung underneath him, flowing in the warm breeze.

Time seemed to stand still as he floated there. The man’s face was calm, much unlike his own, which was shocked. He then thought about what he had seen the day before, and realized that he should be getting used to this kind of thing.
For some reason, though, he wasn’t. It still amazed him. The man continued to float there, for another minute, then slowly descended back onto the rock.

His cloak stopped moving, and Jeffery realized that the breeze had stopped. He found this very strange for two such unrelated things to occur at the same time. Maybe it was just a coincidence, or maybe they weren’t unrelated. Jeffery didn’t really want to think about those kinds of things right now.
