“My love dont you see?”
Lovey Peterson had heard that all her life. Up until now. It was a warm sunny day when Lovey was walking around her neighborhood, the sun shining like nothing was wrong. Lovey loved life, she loved to see things from differant angles. Spots came upon her vision as she walked and she stood still for a moment hoping they’d go away. Her world went black. She could move and hear, but everything was black. Lovey went blind.
Her mother came and ran to her, scared she rushed her to the docotor. It was true Lovey was blind, she would no longer see the life she used to love. For now her life was black. It was raining the next morning. Lovey could hear it but not see it.
“Is-Is it raining?”she asked mekely through tears.
“Yes love, it is raining.”her mother replied.
“Take me there, take me outside to the rain.”she demmanded . Her mother took the wheel chair. Life returned to her through the rain. It was something she could hear and feel but not see. To Lovey that didnt matter.
