Always
We ended the run with a few push-ups and sit-ups, then we went back to our cabins to nap.
3 Days Later
The week flew by so fast! We all had so much fun at this camp.
We all waited at a pavilion for the buses to come. We all got into lines, with Alex behind me. I could feel her soft breath on my shoulder
In,out. In,out. In, out.
As we sat next to each other on the bus.
“I’m going to miss you in New York.” Alex said, holding my hand.
Ten pounds of ice slipped into my stomach
Dammit! Why didn’t I remember! She’s Moving!
“Yeah.” I said, squeezing her hand and giving her a quick kiss.
The bus ride ended, she left the bus, to her parents in a moving van.
I stayed in the bus.
She’s gone, now.
i knew that I would probably never see her again, but I knew what happened at camp. She nor I would ever forget it.
I knew that no matter what happened, we would always remember the moment we kissed.
“Hey, kid! You gotta get out!” The bus driver called back.
Always Remember, Alex. Always
The End
