I liked the slightly condescending (to humans) and sort of casually boasting nature of the last line. And it’s a creative imagining of a source for legend in the context of your own rendering of the vampire myth.
I’m enjoying deconstructing all this vampire mythology and reimagining it to fit with how I would react were I a vampire. A lot of it is close to Rice, minus the Gothic aspect.
Humans are a bit boring compared to vampires, aren’t they? I wish they would teach stuff like this at school, especially if text books were written in such an entertaining way.
So much more you can do with the vampire myth guide, I’m loving every ficlet you write on this entertaining guide. The steak in the heart..garlic…crucifix…. casting no reflexion in mirror….
