The girl raised her arm halfway up until she realized she looked like a doofus. She quickley lowered. it.
“The movies…you sure?”
“Yea. Wait I didn’t catch your name before its…”
“My name…um my name is Jamie.”
“My names Jake. Haha our names both start with a “J”.”
Jamie was too nervous to laugh. Was this guy a fraud? A plot? Whatever he was he was hot. And possibly liked her! She shook that rediculous thought out of her head.
“Kay so the movies…meet me at 7:30 at Silver Movie Theater.”
“Okay…bye Jake.”
“Bye Jamie.” He turned around and his hair slightly shook. Jamie closed her eyes for a second to imagine them in a dark movie theater together…
“SHOOT!” A bunch of innocent bystanders turned around and stared at her. She asked an old asian man “Excuse me…but what day is it?
“It is Tuesday my dear child.” Tuesday. She had to go over to Liz’s house to make campaign posters. She had to cancel on Jake. She reached for her phone. One problem: she didn’t have his number. She couldn’t cancel!
