Kally showed up to the restuarant. She said, “table for two”. She was led to her seat and given her menu. She looked at her watch, just going on 6:30. He’ll come, I hope she thought. Five minutes go by and no sign of him, she opens up her phone. No missed calls. She decides no harm in ordering a drink so she orders a beer. Ten minutes and now shes worried, he would call wouldn’t he? She pondered. She could feel the worry just rise up even more and she started to turn white after about 10 more minutes. A waiter has now asked about two times for food, but yet she can’t even think about food. She decides to wait 10 more minutes before she would leave. She felt sick to her stomach, he wouldn’t not come and not call would he? . Still no missed calls. She finds the nerve to call now, she gets an answer then he hangs up. Her anger rises up and now her face is burnt red. She yells, “check!”, quickly signs the check and out the door she goes. I guess I have been stood up.
