Her Reality
I woke up the next day in a hot sweat. “Ugh” crept out my mouth. I sat up in my bed, trying to remember this dream but nothing came to past.
Later that date, I went to the coffee place looking for Nila.
“Nool, did you finally see Nila?” I said to him.
“Yep, I saw her, she’s right over their playing chess with her grandmother. I told you she will be here.”
I turned and realized that his wife, her grandmom died, sometime ago.
“Sir, how can she be playing with her grandmom?”
“Listen, man, look with your heart and you’ll see them both.”
I didnt want to see her like that. I wanted her to be real, I dont want her to be dead. I started to stare, and then I opened my heart to see her and her grandmom playing chess. She smiled at me and waved, like she did before. Then the words “Hello, I’ve miss you” crept out of her mouth. A small tear drop appeared out of my eye when I felt a hand on my shoulder.
“Sonny, it will be okay. She’s with God now.” Nool said.
I fell to my knees and started to weep.
