Who cares about the gunman? He’s just lost a woman who loved him!
Okay, I’m being dramatic. I thought the isolation of the interaction, ignoring all other details, fit the earth shattering nature (to the protagonist) of what had happened and what was said. LoA
A decent story, though not much background; it’s a little confusing what the relationship between the robot and the narrator is, or even who exactly the narrator is. And the dialogue is a little clichéd. But still, I like it.
