They Don't Understand
I started running down the hall, hoping I was going the right way. 630.. 631.. I was going to go crazy before I got to him. There were guards lurking around outside of some doors, and inside it didn’t look like the patient was having too fun a time. I heard screaming from one room with guards outside.
648.. I was getting there. My legs were getting tired, but I wasn’t going to give up. If he taught me one thing, it’s that I have potential in sports, and if I work at it, I can be as good as he is in soccer. He didn’t know it, but I was going to make him proud.
665. Finally. I saw the numbers, and I also saw the guards outside the rooms. But I didn’t care, I needed to get inside, but the guards grabbed me before I could go anywhere.
“NO!!” I yelled, “Let me in there! CHAD !”
“Lady, calm down, nobody’s getting in there..”
Tears started to stream down my face. “No!” I yelled. I kicked and punched and bit whatever came near me, but they weren’t going to let me in.
