My Mind, In a Way

My mind kind of looked like this place. Angela agreed, when I told her. But she thought my mind would look sunshiney.

Angela thought it looked like my mind since I’m such a “green” girl—I bike to school, wear organic makeup, and only use journals made of recycled paper.

I thought it looked like my mind because it seemed like a fantasy-place, a good place to lose yourself in. My mind has lots of branching trails, bumpy, smooth, and heading to all corners of the universe. There are twists and turns and little dangers around every bush and tree. But nothing too serious—just the little sentiments that send you a bit too near tears. Those are bigger dangers to me than anything physical.

Tears could belong here, too. It looked like it rained a lot in this place. The vegetation was lush and green.

If only. If only I had a real place like this. I’d like to see what my mind looked like.
