Fame: The Nervous Assistant

Lisa Kim was furious. It didn’t take much to light her fuse but she was an arsenal ready to explode.
“Carla!” Lisa shouted into the intercom.
Carla Lisa’s diminutive assistant scurried in. Carla took a step toward her boss’s desk. There was a spectacular view of LA behind Lisa’s desk but Carla was never called in to the corner office to admire the view.
Carla leaned forward to see the article in question then looked up curiously at Lisa.
“Have you seen this?” Lisa asked irately. Carla lied and shook her head no. “You said The Hollywood Review was a pack of lies and crap and you’d kill me if I ever read it.” Carla avoided making eye contact with Lisa, fearing that if she did her boss would know she’d had a subscription to it since she was 13.
“But do you know how many people read this? At least 7 million people. You find me this Danny Stint and find her soon. Her article is enough to kill the careers of at least 3 of the 5 girls she’s named in here, including Kai. And make sure none of my clients read this.”
